OTSEGO (WKZO AM/FM) — Ostego has high hopes for a million dollar demolition project that begins today with crews removing asbestos from the old Rock Tenn Paper Mill in that community.
Special crews will be taking precautions to make sure none of the asbestos fibers endanger the workmen or the community.
They plan to dispose of it at an approved landfill.
Once that job is done, the plan to remove the old plant, and hope they can find someone to redevelop the property.
