KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety is investigating a collision where both motorists may have been at fault.
It occurred at about 3 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of North Park Street and Water Street.
A 21-year-old motorcyclist was speeding northbound on Park, but had the right of way as a car pulled into the intersection and the two crashed.
The biker was treated at the hospital for serious injuries.
Officers used this incident to also warn motorists that now that the warm weather has arrived, they have to be more aware motorcyclists on the roadways.
