KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo woman is in custody after she fired a gun at a vehicle.
Public Safety officers were called to the 1500 block of Portage Street around 11:50 p.m. Thursday after reports of a domestic dispute.
They say the 33-year-old woman fired two shots at an occupied vehicle and then retreated into her home.
Authorities contacted the suspect over the phone and got her to exit the home.
A search was conducted and a loaded handgun and ammunition were discovered inside the home.
Nobody was injured in the shooting.
The woman was taken to the Kalamazoo County Jail on weapon related charges.
