MASON TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man wounded and the gunmen at large.
Deputies say they responded to reports of gun shots on Starbrick Street near Tharp Lake Road early Saturday.
They learned that a 57-year-old Edwardsburg man was shot through a window, when several unknown subjects came to his home demanding to talk to him.
When he refused to come outside, they shot up the house, wounding the man. He was last listed in stable condition at Elkhart General Hospital.
The man was apparently unable or unwilling to identify the men.
