GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO AM/FM) — Grand Rapids Police are identifying the two women found dead in a home on the city’s southeast side and are calling it a double homicide.
47-year-old Cherletta Baber-Bay and 25-year-old Keyona Griffin were found shot to death in their home on Sheldon Avenue around 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities are looking now looking for 45-year-old Derrell Brown, a person of interest who was living with them but vanished.
Sergeant Kathy Williams says it’s been tough to find Brown because he has a number of aliases.
Brown is 5’8” and 180 pounds, and should be considered dangerous.
He was reportedly dating Baber-Bay and has outstanding warrants on unrelated crimes.
