PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage Public Safety officers are investigating after a freight train crashed into a semi-truck that was coming out of a private business.
It happened around 3 p.m. Thursday as the truck was pulling onto Shaver Road near Vanderbilt at a crossing with no signals.
The crash separated the cab of the semi from its trailer, and tied up traffic yesterday, but the driver wasn’t hurt.
