WHITE PIGEON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Two men from White Pigeon may be formally charged today after Police say they found a bomb in their vehicle during a routine traffic stop as the weekend began.
White Pigeon Police say the pair exhibited “deceptive” behavior prompting the officers to ask to search their vehicle Friday afternoon. They found methamphetamine, a machete and the Improvised explosive device.
The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad was deployed to disarm and remove the IED.
The two suspects, aged 35 and 20, were booked into the St. Joseph County Jail for drugs, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of explosives pending arraignment.
