ANN ARBOR (WKZO AM/FM) — The Wolverines and Spartans, the state’s two top-ten ranked basketball teams square off for the first time this season.
The banged up 10th ranked Spartans will play in Ann Arbor without two of their highest scorers at a venue where the 7th ranked Wolverines have not lost a game in two years, and are healthy, coming off a big road win in Minnesota.
Draftking’s NCAA specialist Julian Edlow things Michigan is the stronger team heading into the Big Dance. But others disagree giving the Spartans the edge. And on any given night, you can’t count out a team coached by Tom Izzo.
Both teams are strong on defense so expect a low scoring game.
Tipoff is 3:45 pm Sunday on News Radio 590 and 106.9 FM.
They will play one more regular season game, the last before the Big Ten Tourney in East Lansing in early March.
