DOWAGIAC (WKZO AM/FM) –Three people are in custody after a meth bust in Dowagiac.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team spotted a vehicle leaving a suspected drug house on Tuesday and Dowagiac Police stopped them at East Division and Cedar Street.
While they were speaking to the occupants a 44-year-old woman attempted to flee on foot and toss out her meth along the way.
She was arrested as well as a man and a woman, who were both 25, for possession of meth.
The 44-year-old was also charged with resisting and obstructing and destroying evidence.
