PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — The weather is being blamed for a death along I-94.
Portage Public Safety says a 46-year-old man from Centreville was changing lanes on I-94 near the Westnedge exit early Friday afternoon when he lost control of his F-250 pick-up and slammed into the end of a guardrail.
He was thrown from the vehicle and killed. A 34-year-old Three Rivers woman who was riding in the truck was injured but was expected to survive. She was admitted to Bronson Methodist.
Names are being withheld pending notification of family.
