KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are asking for the public’s help finding a missing elderly man with a severe Bi-Polar disorder.
Family members say 70-year-old Kirk Janson left his home in the 900 block of Grant Street around 3 p.m. Monday to take a short drive, but he didn’t return home after 5 ½ hours.
His dark green 2000 Subaru Legacy was last seen heading eastbound on I-94 and his family says they don’t know where he is going and he could possibly be having an episode.
Janson is described as a white male about 5’7,” 150 pounds, with a short grey hair and beard, a hunched posture, and a right prosthetic leg.
He left wearing brown pants and a brown leather jacket.
Anyone with information should contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 488-8911, the Criminal Investigation Division at 337-8139, or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
