MICHIGAN (WKZO AM/FM) — The U.S. Postal Service is canceling deliveries for most of West Michigan on Wednesday.
It’s the Postal Service’s unofficial motto, “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers,” but there is nothing in there about sub-zero temperatures.
Most governmental offices including Kalamazoo and Portage are shut down for the day and many others agencies, including the courts, schools, libraries, many businesses and even a few factories are saying it’s just too cold to open.
Trash and recycling pickups have been postponed a day in Portage.
