HOLLAND TOWNSHIP (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a stabbing in the 700 block of Butternut Drive in Holland Township, just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019.
Police found the victim, a 46-year-old Holland man with a single stab wound to the abdomen, in the back seat of a vehicle, as the vehicle was pulling out of the home’s driveway. AMR Ambulance took him to Holland Hospital, where, as of 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, he was listed in serious-but-stable condition, and undergoing surgery, according to a Sheriff’s Office statement emailed to media.
Police determined the stabbing happened inside the home, and the the victim is known to those living in the home
Police continue interviewing witnesses.
