BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek Police are searching for two men who had a gun battle in the parking lot of a local liquor store Sunday night.
Somebody at Sam’s Party Store on W. Dickman Road reported the shooting during the dinner hour, and when police got there, all they found were expended shell casings on the ground.
Apparently they both escaped the parking lot without being wounded.
A review of store security video not only revealed what had happened, but officers were able to tentative identify the two gunmen as a 31-year-old and a 30-year-old from Battle Creek.
Both could face firearms felonies if arrested.
