ALLEGAN COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Detroit office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), with the Niles Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation — a firearms trade industry — are offering a $5,000 cash reward for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of four suspects in the Firing Pin gun shop smash-and-grab robbery early on Jan 15, 2019.
Four suspects broke into the Firing Pin gun shop located at 318 N. Fifth St. around 4:15 a.m.Jan.15, 2019, and stole more than 10 guns. The same suspects may be responsible for other robberies in the area.
ATF is offering a reward of up to $2,500, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total reward of up to $5,000. The reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms fromfederally licensed firearms retailers. ATF works closely with members of the firearm industry tocurb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.
