SPRINGFIELD (WKZO AM/FM) — An elderly Battle Creek man is facing charges after police found a bag of crack cocaine inside his ear.
Calhoun County Sheriff deputies conducted a traffic stop around midnight on Friday after they spotted a car speeding near Helmer and Harmonia Roads in Springfield.
When talking to the driver they noticed the bag sticking out of his ear.
The 73-year-old suspect was taken to the hospital for an unrelated health issue and drug charges are now pending.
