GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Allegiant Air has announced it will expand its operations at Gerald Ford International, basing two Airbus A-320 airliners in Grand Rapids and spending about $42.8-million on capital improvements.
Spokesperson Hillarie Grey says they will be creating 66 new jobs, with average salaries that are twice the state’s average.
Allegiant will also add non-stop flights to Nashville, Tennessee and Savannah, Georgia from Grand Rapids.
