OTSEGO (WKZO AM/FM) — Investigators are releasing the name of a woman found dead outside a church in Otsego, but the exact cause is still unknown.
First responders were called to the River of Life church on Allegan Street around 1:30 p.m. Monday where they found 32-year-old Stacey Ongiyo from Otsego unresponsive next to the building.
They say it appeared she had been there for some time and could not be resuscitated.
Deputies then conducted numerous interviews throughout the night and determined that there were no signs of follow play based on the autopsy results but a toxicology test is still being completed.
For now they are calling Ongiyo’s death accidental.
