KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were able to contain a fire to the kitchen area of a home in the 700 block of Stuart Avenue Monday night.
The call came into the Unified Dispatch Center at about 9:16 p.m., and the first officers at the scene spotted smoke and fire coming from the rear of the structure.
There were no injuries.
The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
