COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A suspect in a stabbing in Comstock is in custody after a Sheriff’s Department K-9 flushed him out of a wooded area, into the open.
The Investigation began around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when the stabbing victim staggered into a restaurant in the 5800 block of Gull Road seeking help.
The victim is expected to survive the attack and is being treated at a local hospital.
A perimeter around the crime scene was set up and a K-9 sent in, and the suspect fled the dog and was spotted by officers on perimeter duty and taken into custody.
The suspect is being held on felony counts pending arraignment.
No names were released.
