PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — A soggy New Year’s Eve forced the City of Portage to close the ice skating rink at Millennium Park due to poor ice conditions, and cancel their annual New Year’s Eve Skate event.
If the forecasters are right and the cold weather returns they are expected to reopen New Year’s Day from noon to 5pm, but they suggest you call first too find out.
