SOUTH HAVEN (WKZO AM/FM) — Several fire departments from the South Haven area responded to a fire that destroyed a Cassco Township home.
The blaze was reported right around 6pm New Year’s Eve on 60th Street near 111th Avenue.
South Haven Area Emergency Services was assisted by firefighters from Clyde, Lee and Ganges Townships.
The occupants of the home and one of their dogs escaped the smoke and fire, but a second dog died in the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
