KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Bronson Healthcare has released is annual list of the most popular names given to babies at their birthing centers in Kalamazoo and Battle Creek.
While only Liam made the top five names given to boys at both hospitals, the names given to girls were similar in both towns.
The names most frequently given to boys in Kalamazoo seemed to have a historic flavor, including Oliver, Liam, Noah, Theodore and Benjamin, Lincoln and Jackson.
The boys of Battle Creek seemed to be given the names of movie characters. Jeremiah was #1, followed by Ethan, Hunter, Liam, Carson, Aiden and Zander.
The top five names for girls were surprisingly similar.
In Kalamazoo the top five was Ava, Emma, Amelia, Olivia and Harper.
In Battle Creek it was Ava, Emma, Isabella, Olivia and Hannah.
