CALHOUN COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — Four young Calhoun County residents will spend New Year’s and perhaps several years after that in Jail after they allegedly robbed a Marshall man Friday Night.
The victim told police he was meeting a friend in the 300 block of Mulberry Street to sell him a small amount of marijuana when he was confronted by three men near his driveway at about 9:30.
One of the suspects pulled out a gun and threatened him unless he handed over what he had. They fled in a car.
The suspect was able to give a description of the vehicle and around three hours later, State Police stopped the car near Battle Creek and took the four inside into custody.
A starter pistol was recovered from the vehicle.
A 17-year-old and a 21-year-old from Marshall and two 19-year-olds from Battle Creek are being held for armed robbery.
