KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — New Year’s Day is just days away and in Kalamazoo that means New Year’s Fest and the forecast for this year’s event is a lot more promising than it was than last year when bitterly cold weather kept a lot of people at home.
This New Year’s Eve they are calling for mild conditions with perhaps a light snowfall.
Organizer Deb Droppers says buttons are available at a number of venues, including the public libraries and Harding’s stores and the new Midtown Fresh Market on Howard.
Or you can get them online, and then just pick them up in Bronson Park New Years Eve.
It begins with Tuba New Year and ends with fireworks and the ball drop at Midnight, with dozens of acts sandwiched in between for a full night of entertainment.
