OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are investigating a series of robberies and firearm-involved crimes in the Kalamazoo area.
They assembled a team to look into the cases, and began targeting suspects on Thursday, which brought them to the Concord Place Apartments off of KL Avenue.
They conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was leaving the apartments, found a loaded handgun, and arrested the occupants inside the vehicle for various offenses.
A 19-year-old passenger was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm.
The investigation is still underway.
