KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety is looking for a pair of robbers who held up the Lake Michigan Credit Union in the 400 block of South Westnedge in the Vine Neighborhood just before closing.
The two black males walked in at 5 pm, and told the teller it was a robbery and demanded money. No weapons were seen.
Capt. Brad Misner says the two robbers then fled on foot, money in hand. A K-9 track was attempted but the dog lost the scent.
Forensics teams went over the bank looking for prints or other clues and detectives will be reviewing surveillance tapes, and say more information could be released soon.
