KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo City Commissioners will hold the last meeting of 2018 Monday night and will consider a number of items for the first time that won’t be approved until after New Year.
On the agenda, the first reading for an ordinance change regarding pedestrians using crosswalks, and a first look at an ordinance amendment to clarify the rules for using bicycles on sidewalks and at crosswalks.
There will be a resolution to set January 7th for a public hearing on the 2019 city budget, and one agenda item that will require a final vote; whether a homeowner on Cardinal Avenue should be allowed to own a pet pig.
The meeting is at 7pm at City Hall.
