GRANDVILLE (WKZO AM/FM) — Two armed robbers are being sought by police in Grandville after they tried to rob the Jared Jewelry Store on Rivertown Parkway Saturday night.
Police say the pair walked in at 8pm wearing ski masks, and armed with hammers.
They smashed one glass display and damaged a second display case, but fled the scene in a dark colored SUV without taking anything.
Apparently security measures designed to foil such robberies worked.
