KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo County health officials are issuing an advisory about a sewage overflow.
The City of Kalamazoo was notified of a sanitary sewer overflow on Ash Street south of Cork Street around 10:45 yesterday morning and it was fixed before noon.
Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services is advising anyone who drove through any water in that area during that time period to wash their car, and anyone who made contact with it is advised to clean and disinfect their shoes, clothes and skin.
The city has not said what caused the overflow.
