TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — A driver in a hit and run crash in Texas Township is on the run, but Kalamazoo County Deputies probably know the identity of the fugitive.
They believe alcohol may have been involved.
They responded to a report of a crash of a vehicle into a home at 5465 Swallow Ave just before 7:00 Sunday morning.
The suspect not only left their vehicle behind, fleeing on foot, but left a passenger in the front seat.
There were no injuries as a result of the crash, but the impact did cause “significant damage” to the residential structure.
They deployed a K-9 but the dog lost the track.
