KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The Daughters of the American Revolution held a special Veteran’s Day commemoration in Bronson Park Sunday night to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI.
A wreath laying ceremony was held at Kalamazoo’s War Memorial near the County Courthouse.
State Representative David Maturen, a veteran himself, spoke of the sacrifice made by the members of the U.S. Expeditionary Force.

450 luminaria bearing the names of soldiers were placed along the walkways in Bronson Park while music from the era played from the Rotary Stage.
