COVERT TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Investigators are looking into the cause of a fatal mobile home fire in Van Buren County.
First responders were called the 29000 block of 76th Street near 30th Avenue around 7 a.m. Friday to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
Covert Fire officials told reporters that 75-year-old Jerry Lee Rawson was pulled from the burning home and taken to the hospital where he later died.
It’s still unclear what sparked the blaze and no other information has been released at this time.
