OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the second break in at a Jamestown Township business — exactly one month after the first, according to Capt. Mark Bennett.
Each time, the thefts of construction equipment and supplies amounted to more than an estimated $20,000, he said.
The first break in happened Sept. 3, the second on Saturday Nov. 3, 2018. Both burglaries happened in the late afternoon of the day, at DHE Business, 4475 Eighth Ave.
A surveillance camera captured an image of the suspects’ vehicle, a. green-and-tan Ford pickup, with silver running boards, Bennett said. The truck may be missing a gas cap.
