LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Supreme Court is refusing to hear the appeal of convicted baby killer Sean Phillips of Ludington.
The decision means that a lower court ruling that rejected Phillips appeal to have his conviction overturned will stand.
He was charged with the abduction of Baby Kate in 2011. She was never seen alive or dead again after he drove off with her on the day he was to have a DNA test too prove he was indeed the father.
They found the baby’s outfit in his pocket but her body has never been found.
Phillips will remain in the Carson City Correctional Facility where he serving 19 to 45 years for second degree murder.
