HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A teen without his licence could be facing charges after he crashed his friend’s car in Hartford Township.
It happened in the 50000 block of County Road 687 around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The 15-year-old says he was driving his friend home in her car when he swerved to avoid a deer and crashed into a tree.
The 17-year-old passenger was rushed to Bronson Methodist in Kalamazoo with a broken leg and the young driver suffered minor injuries.
Van Buren County Sheriff deputies are now seeking a warrant from the prosecutor charging the Hartford teen with driving without a license causing serious injury.
