KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are investigating a suspected alcohol-involved crash in the Edison Neighborhood.
They say a 26-year-old woman was driving down Bank Street around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday when she crashed her pick-up truck into the side of the Bank Street Bingo Hall, across from the Kalamazoo Farmer’s Market.
The impact caused significant damage to the building but nobody was inside at the time.
The woman was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators will run blood tests to determine if alcohol was a factor.
