DOWAGIAC (WKZO AM/FM) — Two men are in custody after a meth bust in Dowagiac.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and the Michigan Department of Corrections conducted a parole check in the 500-block of North Front Street on Thursday.
When they arrived one resident attempted to flee out of a second story window but later came down without incident.
Detectives located drug paraphernalia for the use of meth and two residents inside the home.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for violating parole and for the possession of meth and marijuana and a 31-year-old man was arrested for several unrelated warrants.
Their names are being withheld pending their arraignments and authorities are still investigating the incident.
