KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Healthy and Productive Michigan, a grassroots group trying to derail Proposal One held six news conferences all over Michigan yesterday, including one in Kalamazoo.
It featured representatives from the clergy, healthcare, law enforcement and drug recovery centers all predicting dire consequences if legalization of marijuana passes next month.
They also rolled out their first TV ad that will be airing soon.
Prop 1 spokesperson Josh Hovey calls it hysteria and flat out lies. He says they will rolling out their own ads soon.
