CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — It was like asking to get caught.
A man and a woman are behind bars after they were driving without a license plate, which led police to a major drug and gun bust.
Cass County Sheriff deputies noticed the car in the area of Wilber Hills Road and Matthew Street around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and pulled them over.
When they did they discovered that both the male driver and the female passenger had outstanding warrants.
A search of the car turned up meth, marijuana, a loaded handgun and other drug paraphernalia.
The two 41-year-old suspects were taken to jail pending prosecution on their old charges and arraignment on a few new ones.
