ANN ARBOR (WKZO AM/FM) — Bernie Sanders, and most of the top of the Michigan Ticket in next month’s election appeared at a packed rally in Ann Arbor last night and they all had one message…get out and vote.
They urged the crowd to take as many friends with them to the polls as possible.
Sanders says four years ago, the country had the lowest turn-out in a mid-term since world war two because of voter suppression by the Republicans and it resulted in a GOP take over in Washington and many state houses.
Every indication is that the energy is high, many voters are motivated, some are angry, particularly women, and there will be a large turnout…and they want to avoid any surprises.
