HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The League of Women Voters of The Holland Area who host candidates in the 30th State Senate race for a forum from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, in the large meeting room at Herrick District Library, 300 S. River Ave., in Holland.
The candidates are Roger Victory, Republican currently representing the Michigan’s 88th district House seat, Jeanette Schipper, Democratic currently an administrative assistant for admissions at Western Theological Seminary and Mary Buzuma, Libertarian.
They are competing for the seat is currently held by Arlen Meekhof, Senate Majority Leader, who is term-lmited.
Note cards will be provided for audience members to submit the questions before the start of the forum.
