BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Friday was a scary day at the Battle Creek Academy, a Seventh Day Adventist school in the Washington Heights area, when a bullet slammed into the building at about 1pm.
The school immediately went into lockdown, as did several other schools in the area.
Police were called but all they found was a spent shell in the roadway.
No victims or witnesses were found. There were no physical injuries but no doubt nerves were rattled.
Investigators are still looking for any witnesses.
