COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A suspect is the Kalamazoo County Jail after he held a victim at gunpoint as they were using an ATM.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies were called to the Consumers Credit union on Gull Road in Comstock Township just after 7 a.m. Thursday after reports of an armed robbery.
They say the victim was getting money from the ATM when the armed robber walked up and demanded money.
However, the suspect fled the scene empty handed and was located in the area and arrested.
No names have been released and the case is being forwarded to the prosecutor’s office on Friday.
