KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A man is in the Kalamazoo County Jail after he was caught wheeling stolen items out of a business near the Edison Neighborhood.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were called to the 1300 block of Fulford Street around 7 a.m. Monday after the business owner saw the subject on the video security system.
That’s when they found a 50-year-old man pushing a wheelbarrow full of items who admitted to stealing them from inside the business.
The robber was arrested and charged with breaking and entering.
Public Safety officers are also reminding business and homeowners to have video security systems in place so suspects in criminal cases can be quickly identified and apprehended.
