KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Target Insyght Poll shows the race between Senator Margaret O’Brien and Democrat Sean McCann in Kalamazoo is once again a dead heat, with just one percent separating the two heading into November.
Four years ago O’Brien won by just 60 votes, and it could come down to the wire again.
MIRS News says it’s one of ten senate seats that could flip from Red to Blue, but they give high points to O’Brien for taking a leading role in bike safety legislation, the Larry Nassar case, the Parchment water crisis and now proposing a bill to end secret child marriages in Michigan.
It all depends on turnout, and right now MIRS News says that may give McCann the edge.
Target Insyght says right now its 47-46-McCann with Lorence Wenke drawing 6%.
