KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Wings are celebrating their 45th year of hockey in Kalamazoo with a new exhibit in the Kalamazoo Valley Museum.
They used the grand opening of the exhibit to reveal the jerseys they will be wearing this coming season, and the Wing’s Toni Daniels announced they will be retiring a couple of jersey numbers to honor former Wing’s players Kevin Schamehorn and Georges Gagnon During the upcoming season.
Banners, trophies, sticks, uniforms and pictures from decades on ice will be on display at the downtown museum through March.
