KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo Central Student who made a threat online about shooting up the High School mid-week is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail, charged with a couple of 20 year felonies.
Kalamazoo Township Police got an anonymous tip about the Facebook post from the 18-year-old suspect, who had gotten into an online argument that contained the threat.
A search of the suspect’s home found no evidence that he planned or would be able to carry through with such a threat. Just making he threat is a crime these days. He will remain in jail over the weekend.
