KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — If you see a home on West Main with a yard full of pink flamingos, there is a good cause behind it.
We don’t know what that good cause is in this case, that’s between the homeowner and the group responsible.
That is usually disclosed in a note that is taped to a yard sign that says “You’ve been Flocked”. Church groups, sports teams, even cancer support groups have used the unusual fundraiser.
The home is outfitted with dozens of pink flamingos and the sign, and the homeowners have to make a donation to get the plastic birds removed.
