YANKEE SPRING TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway to determine why a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and crashed at M-179 and Briggs Road in Barry County at around 11:30 Saturday morning.
Deputies say that 70-year-old Dennis Corbin of Plainwell was tossed from the bike and suffered fatal injuries.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in Yankee Springs Township.
They say it doesn’t appear that drugs or alcohol were involved and Corbin was wearing a helmet, but they will run tests.
